Rights in the Workplace

Every employee in Canada has  the right to work in a workplace where they are  treated fairly, and in an environment where they are e free from discrimination and harassment. Canada’s labour laws uphold employees’ rights through the Canada Labour Code. This code also protects the rights of foreign workers under federal and or provincial/ territorial labour laws.
