Amrinder Singh

“I’m really fascinated by the beauty of this Island. The views in the fall, the Cabot Trail. I’ve never seen such beauty in my life. I literally cried my first time around the Trail.”

Amrinder came from India to study at Cape Breton University. With a Bachelor’s degree, and a background in his family’s manufacturing business, Amrinder wanted to further pursue his interest in business. Before coming to Cape Breton, he did some research, but he was still taken aback by the fact that our airport only has two rooms! This little island made a big impression on him though, and Amrinder is now happily living and working in Cape Breton.   Amrinder graduated with a Diploma in Business Management, and had offers to work off Island. He chose to stay, believing the right job offer would come his way. His patience paid off, and he is looking forward to giving  back to the community that has given him so much. Amrinder says “the best part of Cape Breton is the people. You can always reach out to find someone to help you, to guide you.”

We think you’re one of the best things about Cape Breton too Amrinder!
