Synaxis of the Mother God

The Synaxis of the Mother of God, also known as the Feast of the Theotokos, is a Christian feast celebrated on December 26 in the Eastern Orthodox Church. It is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, and commemorates her role in giving birth to Jesus Christ, the Savior.
