Summer Solstace (Litha) June Solstice
The June Solstice, around June 20 or 21, marks the beginning of summer in the Northern Hemisphere and the start of winter in the Southern Hemisphere. It’s the day with the longest daylight hours in the Northern Hemisphere. Solstice holds spiritual significance for Indigenous Peoples & is celebrated as a time to honour nature’s patterns. It is also a Pagan & Wiccan holiday & begins at sundown.
