National Heroes and Benefactors Day
Belize observes National Heroes and Benefactors Day, a public holiday honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to the nation. Formerly known as,Baron Bliss Day, the holiday was renamed in 2008 to recognize a wider range of Belizean heroes.
