Holi
Holi is a vibrant Hindu spring festival celebrated in India and other countries with Hindu communities. It usually takes place in March, marking the arrival of spring. Holi is known as the “Festival of Colors” because participants joyfully throw colored powders and water at each other. The festival also includes music, dance, traditional sweets, and a sense of unity as people come together to celebrate the victory of good over evil and the start of a new season.
