Irish Heritage Month

Started in 2022, this month represents an opportunity for learning about the rich contributions of Irish Canadians. In the 17th century, the Irish first came to New France where they faced much poverty and discrimination. Able to later thrive, today nearly 4.6 million Canadians can trace their ancestry to Ireland.
