CBRM TAX INCENTIVE FOR DOWNTOWNS & BUSINESS PARKS
The Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM) has created a commercial tax incentive to promote downtown revitalization and business park development.

 

The tax incentive applies to various core downtown areas in the CBRM located in multiple communities. This tax incentive also applies to CBRM’s three business parks – Harbourside, Sydport, and Northside.

Harbourside Commercial Park was incorporated by the Province of Nova Scotia in order to take advantage its excellent infrastructure, proximity to a deep water port, and its central location within the heart of Nova Scotia’s second largest city – Sydney.

 

The park encompasses over 300 acres and accommodations for commercial, industrial, and office enterprises.
