DESCRIPTION:(Festa Junina) June Festival is a traditional celebration in June to honour three Catholic saints – Saint Anthony on the 13th, Saint John the Baptist on the 24th, and Saint Peter on the 29th of June. The festival also celebrates rural life and its traditions. It has its roots in the European festival during Midsummer. The festival originated as a pagan ritual but was later adapted by Catholicism. The celebration involves dressing like farmers, performing the quadrilha dance, and enjoying typical Brazilian food and bonfires. It is the second most popular festival in Brazilian culture after Carnival.\n
